Apple is weighing Google’s Gemini AI for a new Siri, as leadership exits and delays push the company to consider outside help.

Apple Inc. is in early discussions about using Google Gemini to power a revamped version of the Siri voice assistant, marking a key potential step toward outsourcing more of its artificial intelligence technology.

Apple’s current AI efforts have not gone well for the company. Apple Intelligence has failed to deliver on several fronts, including the promised upgrades to its Siri assistant, and other moves have mostly fallen flat.
