President Trump landed in South Florida Tuesday morning to visit the site of a new immigration detention center that state officials are calling "Alligator Alcatraz." Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem are visiting the facility alongside the president.

U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Florida on Tuesday for the opening of a remote migrant detention center in the Everglades dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz" as he pressures lawmakers to deliver a sweeping spending bill which would ramp up deportations.
