Bayern Munich look set to miss out on signing Xavi Simons after the RB Leipzig star reiterated his desire to join Chelsea.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Leipzig have agreed to an €80 million move for Simons, with €55 million paid upfront. The Dutch midfielder is under contract until June 2027, and PSG inserted a sell-on clause to guarantee a cut of any future transfer fees.
The reporter suggests Chelsea are expecting a fee of around €40 million (£34.5m) plus add ons for Nkunku. He also states that personal terms should not be an issue, with the former RB Leipzig man keen on a move to Bavaria to join Bayern.
Bayern Munich have the Chelsea star high up on their shortlist as an alternative to Kingsley Coman, who is moving to Al Nassr.
And then there's their comparatively small debt. Bayern's amounts for just 13 percent of their value, whereas Barcelona's debt is at 54 percent, United with 32 percent, and Chelsea at 22 percent.
