China-based online retailer Temu started adding “import charges” for orders being sent to the U.S. in recent days, often more than doubling the cost. The charges are all thanks to President Donald Trump’s tariffs. And American customers are not too happy about any of it.

Discount Chinese retail app Temu appears to be passing on nearly all of Donald Trump’s new import taxes to US consumers, more than doubling the cost of some products in a move that may add to concern about the inflationary impact of tariffs.

Officials in China earlier this month ordered airlines not to take any further deliveries of Boeing jets as part of the tit-for-tat trade war.

BEIJING (Reuters) -Chinese airlines and Boeing have been severely impacted by U.S.-imposed tariffs, disrupting regular trade and investment activities of many businesses, the Chinese commerce ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

New US tariffs have reached 145 per cent on many Chinese products, while Beijing has responded with fresh 125 per cent duties on imports from the United States.
