University of Michigan football program has faced embarrassing list of scandals, arrests and illegal schemes. Sherrone Moore suspension is the latest.

Ahead of the NCAA infraction hearing in the Connor Stalions case, Michigan has self-imposed a two-game ban for head coach Sherrone Moore.

Notably, Michigan is not suspending Moore for the first two games, which allows him to coach against his alma mater, Oklahoma, in Week 2 in Norman. Moore will also be excluded from any team activities during the week leading up to those games. Michigan will also likely hit Moore with recruiting-related punishments.
