Ferrari has unveiled its latest sports car – the Amalfi. Arriving as a replacement for the Roma, the new 2+2 model acts as the entry point to the Ferrari range and comes with a variety of modifications and upgrades over its predecessor.

Ferrari revealed its new Amalfi coupe on Tuesday as the luxury sportscar maker mixes petrol and hybrid models in its range while preparing for the launch of its first fully electric vehicle.

Speaking of which, engineers admit the V8 is a “few decibels” quieter than before, which is irritating, but the biggest gripe must be the roll out of the adaptive cruise, AEB, blind spot detection, lane-keep assist and traffic sign recognition – which are all great for safety – but are joined by a dreaded intelligent speed warning buzzer.
