Jussie Smollett continues to defend his account of the alleged hate crime, despite the Osundairo brothers claiming he paid them to stage it.

Jussie Smollett is moving forward after his six-year legal battle with the city of Chicago was settled. The ordeal began after he reported that he was the victim of an alleged hate crime in 2019. The Empire actor, who is gay and Black, claimed that two men had attacked him outside of his apartment building, using slurs.

More than six years after Jussie Smollett was accused of falsely reporting a hate crime attack in Chicago, the former “Empire” actor and his case are back in the spotlight. Netflix documentary “The Truth About Jussie Smollett” is set to hit the streamer on Friday, Aug. 22 and feature interviews from those involved in the case and Smollett himself.
