ESPN's Peter Schrager believes the 49ers should pursue a trade for Bengals star Trey Hendrickson after acquiring Keion White from the Patriots.
While the Cincinnati Bengals reportedly aren't planning on trading star pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson, they could be more open to a change of scenery for the veteran if they continue to struggle after dropping to 3-5 on the season.
The Bengals also have a concern at defensive end as Trey Hendrickson didn’t practice. He aggravated his right hip issue Sunday, playing only 23 of 73 snaps. He initially injured his hip in the Week 6 game against the Packers and didn’t play in the Thursday night game against the Steelers in Week 7.
Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson left the team’s game against the New York Jets with an injury and some within the organization aren’t happy about the hit that caused it. According to NFL reporter Jordan Schultz, some within the Bengals consider the hit that injured Hendrickson a “cheap shot” from the Jets.
Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson was injured on a late shot from behind by Jets offensive lineman John Simpson.
