Tennis star Jannik Sinner revealed he considered walking away from the sport over his recent doping suspension and the reaction to his situation.

Jannik Sinner has revealed he considered quitting tennis before accepting a three-month doping ban. The World No 1, who is set to return to the sport next week at the Italian Open in Rome, said he thought about walking away from tennis before reaching a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in February.

Jannik Sinner said he “didn’t feel at ease” during the Australian Open in January and considered taking a break from tennis after he was sanctioned for two anti-doping violations.
