The Cincinnati Bengals allowed 23 fourth-quarter points in their 39-38, Week 8 loss to the previously winless New York Jets at Paycor Stadium to fall to 3-5 this season. The Cincinnati defense failed to protect a 31-16 lead, and couldn't stop Justin Fields and the Jets from moving the ball at will. The Jets improved to 1-7.

Cincinnati Bengals edge rusher Trey Hendrickson left the team’s game against the New York Jets with an injury and some within the organization aren’t happy about the hit that caused it.
