Week 9 may have lacked the major upsets of previous weeks, but plenty of games played a key role in conference races and the CFP picture.
A week after dropping out of college football's polls after an upset loss at UAB, Memphis football is back in the US LBM Coaches Poll following its 34-31 win on Oct. 25 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The Tigers (7-1, 3-1 American Conference) re-entered the poll at No. 25. USF dropped out but still received 24 voting points.
The Tigers (7-1, 3-1 American Conference) faced plenty of it in their come-from-behind 34-31 win over USF (6-2, 3-1) on Oct. 25 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. Memphis was down 24-14 at halftime and trailed for most of the game.

Washington won the national title the year Nevermind and Ten came out; Stanford won 12 games the year The Social Network came out.
