Damon Jones is a former NBA player and assistant coach who was arrested and indicted in October 2025 as part of a NBA gambling scandal.
Jones, 49, played in NBA for 10 teams spanning 11 seasons from 1998-2009, spending no more than three years with any team after going undrafted out of Houston.
The Galveston, Texas native played college basketball at the University of Houston, and currently resides in Houston.

Former Milwaukee Bucks guard Damon Jones is among 31 people indicted in a federal gambling scheme, accused of sharing insider info to help place bets on NBA games, prosecutors announced Thursday.
The NBA world has been turned on its head after a massive sports gambling investigation officially came to light Thursday when the FBI dropped information leading to the arrests of Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups and Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier.
