Google has just released an update for Wear OS that enables Gemini Assistant on smart watches for the first time. I figured I’d have to faff around with software and app updates to get it on the Pixel Watch 2 that I use. Surprisingly, it downloaded automatically, announcing itself with a notification.

For the identically sized Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, the only size difference is a slight increase in thickness. Both are getting heavier though, with the Pixel 10 Pro gaining slightly more weight than the Pixel 10 for some reason.

Google has slashed the cost of the Pixel 8 Pro by $400, bringing the price down to $599. That figure is a bit of marketing because the Pixel 8 Pro hasn’t been $999 for a very long time, and the company runs consecutive deals, so it’s rare to pay full price for a Pixel phone.
