Five players who would fit well on the Warriors if bought out or released
Red-hot San Antonio visits Golden State on Wednesday night in both teams’ final game before the All-Star break.
Warriors star Draymond Green wants to keep playing in the NBA, but he will probably have to end his career somewhere else.
Why the Warriors could make a push for this two-way center
Draymond Green was on triple-double watch while guarding Victor Wembanyama, putting up 17 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Wembanyama responded by scoring 26 and blocking two shots. Neither player wanted to give an inch to the other as there was plenty of grappling and uncalled fouls as the duo battled for positioning.
In his absence, Moses Moody is thriving. He’s averaging 15 points on 46 percent shooting in February, playing defense like he actually enjoys it. He’s the plus role player the Warriors wanted Kuminga to be, albeit without the above-the-rim ability.
Charles Barkley once said Steve Kerr “is not that stupid” to join the Warriors, doubting he would take over the struggling franchise.
