The New York Giants play host to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday in a battle of teams missing multiple star players on both sides of the ball.

The Giants' 34-24 loss against the 49ers on Sunday wasn’t particularly unique for a team that now stands at 2-7. But one thing did stand out at MetLife Stadium: The almost fully packed crowd comprised about 40% San Francisco fans.

On the flip side, the Giants had zero punt return yards (Gunner Olszewski had one fair catch, and another punt was downed), and the kickoff returns, featuring Jalin Hyatt for his first-ever NFL special teams snaps, averaged 27.3 yards, as the 49ers beat the Giants in the field position battle.
