Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points by labouring to victory over Wolves. The Gunners squeezed past the side sat bottom of the league in a dramatic end to the game at Emirates Stadium. Tolu Arokodare thought he had rescued Wolves a point when he cancelled out Sam Johnstone’s own goal in the 90th minute.
Lucky Arsenal were let off the hook in dramatic style as they claimed a 2-1 win against Wolves thanks to two own goals from the Premier League's basement boys, with Yerson Mosquera heading what proved to be the winner past his own keeper Sam Johnstone deep into stoppage time at the Emirates.
Wolves came to the Emirates and scored three times. Unfortunately for the visitors, two of those ended in their own net. Sam Johnstone inadvertently bundled Arsenal in front after 70 frustrating minutes for the hosts only for Tolu Arokodare to head Wolves level in the final minute of normal time.
