Thousands of people gathered at Gloria Molina Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday for its Summer Block Party.

Topping the bill was an aerial light display featuring more than 1,000 drones, presented by Sky Elements, which many residents chose to enjoy from a perch in the Aquatic Center pool.
