Special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and President Donald Trump's son-in-law and businessman Jared Kushner arrived in Israel on Monday morning to bolster the ceasefire agreement and to continue implementation of the second phase of Trump's 20-point Gaza plan.

JD Vance is expected to hold talks with Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials on the ceasefire deal today as Donald Trump has threatened to "eradicate" Hamas "if they're not good". Meanwhile, the latest returned hostage has been identified as father-of-four Tal Haimi.

Near-daily Israeli attacks have become the new normal in Lebanon, nearly a year after a U.S.-brokered truce halted the lastest conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.

In other words, the stakes are nothing less than the legacy and longevity of Trump’s 20-point peace plan for Gaza, and the most important criterion is whether it will result in world leaders ousting Hamas from power.
