A week after the Detroit Lions' offense kicked into gear, it found itself stuck in the mud at Lincoln Financial Field.
Carter made a huge impact with two batted down passes at the line of scrimmage during the Eagles’ Monday night win over the Green Bay Packers and Davis got the Eagles going early Sunday night with a line-of-scrimmage tip of a Goff pass that turned into an interception for Cooper DeJean.

Eagles rely on defense to beat Lions for 4th straight win
Jalen Hurts scored the go-ahead "tush push" touchdown just before halftime and the Philadelphia Eagles turned in another elite defensive effort in a 16-9 win against the visiting Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
During a 16-9 win that improved the Eagles to 8-2, Philadelphia allowed points on just two of Detroit’s 12 drives. That included stopping the Lions — who had scored on all but one drive last week, while producing 44 points — on downs five times. They fell to 6-4.
The Eagles (8-2) are the only team in the NFC East with more than three wins and the second one in the conference to eight victories.
