A 24-year-old man faces charges after running from Las Vegas police during a traffic stop, leading an officer to shoot him.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a police shooting Friday in Belton. Troopers say the shooting took place Friday in the 16000 block of Rebecca Lane. The shooting involved members of the Belton Police Department.

Officials say two more suspects were arrested in a Nov. 5 armed robbery that turned into a shooting, injuring one and hitting a home and car.

The Corpus Christi Police Department has arrested 39-year-old Macario Trevino and 23-year-old Sebastian Espinoza in connection with early Friday's shooting. Both men are in custody, and charged with Aggravated Assault with/ Deadly Weapon (2nd Degree Felony).
