Heading into the game against Boston College, there were two massive Achilles heels for this Notre Dame team that the fans wanted to see remedied. Unfortunately, both were on display once again during the game,

This is Notre Dame, not some Division III program that would have a lot better reason for not having a capable kicker. I'm not asking for someone to be the next NFL kicker to come from Notre Dame, but could someone simply put the ball through the uprights on an extra point on a regular basis?

The Eagles (1-8) battled for three quarters but were undone in the fourth after Jeremiyah Love's 94-yard TD run sealed a 25-10 victory for the Fighting Irish (6-2).

Quarterback Wyatt Brown rushes 18 times for 165 yards and was also 12 for 29 with 143 yards and three total touchdowns in a 27-21 win.

Notre Dame didn't have its best showing Saturday at Boston College, but it got all sorts of help regarding the CFP.
