The creators of "Severance" have been crafting an even more intricate labyrinth of secrets, lies, and Lumon founder Kier Egan-based artwork.

The memorial held for Irving (John Turturro) in Severance Season 2, episode 5, was memorable for a couple of reasons: 1) the deeply disturbing fruit head, and 2) the discovery made by Dylan (Zach Cherry) behind that poster. But what exactly did the note he found say, and what does it mean?

Either Severance Season 2 Episode 4 just disproved an Innie sleep theory, or Irving’s nightmare added another dark layer to the Apple TV show.

First, he loses Burt, the love of his (innie) life. Then, he wakes up in a frozen tundra where nobody believes him about Helena posing as Helly and nobody will let him eat a seal. Now, he’s officially fired and remembered only as a smiling head of watermelon.
