The Ravens have their head coach in Jesse Minter. Still to be determined is one of the most important roles under him, the offensive coordinator. Todd Monken has been Baltimore’s offensive coordinator since 2023 and was the architect of what proved to be an explosive and dynamic unit his first two seasons.

After six straight losing seasons in Denver, Sean Payton came in and got the Broncos the AFC’s No. 1 seed and off life support. Mike Vrabel similarly revived the Patriots, this year’s No. 2 AFC seed after consecutive 4-13 seasons. Both are assisted by especially decorated coordinators (Denver DC Vance Joseph and New England OC Josh McDaniels).

Jesse Minter won’t be officially introduced as the Baltimore Ravens’ new head coach until a news conference at the Under Armour Performance Center on Thursday. Yet, he’s had no choice but to set a list of priorities for his early days on the job. Assembling a coaching staff is at the top of the list.

Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph was considered one of the top coaching candidates for this year's cycle and he has interviewed with five teams. Three of those teams (Ravens, Giants and Titans) have already hired a new head coach.
