The NHL announced Monday morning that it has named Utah Hockey Club forward Barrett Hayton the third star of the week from Jan. 20-26.

For quite some time now, I have been writing about how Barrett Hayton has been playing much better than you would assume from his stat sheet and that his struggles were more due to extended poor puck luck rather than poor performance.
