Vice President JD Vance is hoping for peace between Russia and Ukraine — and he also wants to stop funding Ukraine in the war. The vice president said Sunday, “We’re done with the funding of the Ukraine war business. We want to bring about a peaceful settlement to this thing,” The Hill reported.

Meeting for the first Russia-US summit in more than four years the pair spent almost all of their three-hour closed meeting discussing what a compromise on Ukraine might look like, according to Kremlin sources.
