The No. 10 Miami Hurricanes suffered their second loss of the season Saturday, falling 26-20 in overtime to the SMU Mustangs at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas.

SMU had a chance to tie the game against Miami in the fourth quarter, but the kick was ruled no good after going over the goal post.

Fitzpatrick, ranked No. 9 on the USA Today Florida top 100, had a game-sealing interception in St. Thomas Aquinas' win against Chaminade-Madonna.

The Hurricanes got great efforts from their defense and from several key players on offense, pulling away from Stanford and notching a key bounce-back win.
