WOODLAND HILLS, Ca. The Los Angeles Rams continue to prepare for their 2025 NFL preseason finale against the Browns in Cleveland, practicing at their Woodland Hills facility. On Monday, following Matthew Stafford's return to practice, Sean McVay took to the podium to answer questions about his quarterback and other members of the Rams roster.

Undrafted in 2022 from Florida State, Thomas has bounced between the Rams roster and practice squad since joining the team. Most recently, he had been getting snaps with the first team defense and his departure clarifies the battle for E#4 to Brennan Jackson and Nick Hampton.

The Rams signed offensive lineman Mike McAllister to a one-year deal, the team announced Tuesday. The Rams also announced they waived wide receiver Mario Williams with an injury designation and placed outside linebacker Keir Thomas II on injured reserve.

Los Angeles Rams rookie running back Jarquez Hunter hasn't earned too much screen time this offseason since he was drafted in the fourth round out of Auburn. Starter Kyren Williams has seen most of the first-team reps this summer and backup Blake Corum started the team's first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Los Angeles Rams are ready to capitalize on hot finishes following rough starts in the last two seasons. L.A.’s young talent is hopefully enough to get the team back to Super Bowl glory in 2025. Fortunately, the Rams have two of the best youngsters in the game, according to one prominent outlet.

Through two preseason games, though, the Rams' backups look great at keeping quarterback Stetson Bennett upright. L.A. hasn't played any starting offensive linemen and the Rams still rank No. 1 in Pro Football Focus' pass blocking grade with 81.7 this preseason. The Minnesota Vikings trail them at 76.0.
