Cincinnati Reds superstar Elly De La Cruz has reportedly been dealing with a quad injury for most of the season, but it seems to be getting better now.

On Tuesday night, Hendrick had a two-home run game for the Chattanooga Lookouts. The 24-year-old has really struggled over five minor league seasons, slashing .210/.295/.365 with 706 strikeouts in 490 games, but he has shown some promise in Double-A Chattanooga this season.

The Reds are sitting at 66-60 on the season, just a game back from the New York Mets, who hold the final wild card spot. The Braves, meanwhile, are 56-69 and are 10.5 games back, virtually out of postseason contention.

Cincinnati has won seven of 10 games and has moved to third in the National League Central.In the win, Hunter Greene dominated on the mound. He earned a no-decision after striking out 12 and walking none over 6.
