Ultimately, Massie and the upcoming GOP primary race will be a test of whether Trump still wields the political stronghold over the Republican party like he has for the past decade. One of Massie's main focuses in 2026 is getting reelected so he can continue to advance the agenda he's campaigned on and worked on for more than a dozen years.
