Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy finished the 2024 season and playoffs as a top target on the team. He shared his success with his teammates in the receivers' room during his Super Bowl LIX postgame press conference.

It wasn't the outcome he surely wanted, but Xavier Worthy nevertheless made history in Super Bowl LIX. In the Chiefs' 40-22 loss, Worthy set a new Super Bowl standard for rookies.  Worthy finished the night with 157 yards and two touchdowns on eight catches.

By recording 157 yards receiving, Worthy broke the Super Bowl record for most receiving yards by a rookie receiver. The previous record was 109, held by Seattle Seahawks' Chris Matthews and St. Louis Rams' Torry Holt.
