Stellantis recalling 1.2 million Ram 1500 trucks, months after it recalled about 158,000 Ram 2500 pick ups, the company announced today.

Car manufacturer Stellantis is recalling more than 1.2 million Ram 1500 vehicles due to a software malfunction in the anti-lock brake system (ABS).

The Ram 1500 models affected are of the 2019 and 2021-2024 model-years. The problem stems from faulty software in the ABS module introduced with the model generation launched for 2019.

Ram is recalling over 300,000 heavy-duty trucks in the United States due to a potentially serious issue with hydraulic control units.
