Curiously, Samsung is recommending that DeX for Windows users switch to Microsoft Phone Link, which offers similar (but not identical) functionality.

“The DeX for PC on Windows OS will end support from One UI 7 version. We encourage customers to connect mobile phone and PC through the Link to Windows feature,” Samsung said on its website.

With Your Phone or Link to Windows, you can access your smartphone to make phone calls, send text messages and view photos from your computer’s screen.
