Bloomer's Jack Strand didn't hear his name called as the National Football League Draft concluded Saturday in Pittsburgh. But he will still have an opportunity to pursue his football dreams. Strand confirmed early Saturday night that he is signing with the NFL's Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent.
(KNFL/KFGO) – Former MSUM Dragon quarterback, Jack Strand, was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons.
While Bloomer alum Jack Stand didn’t hear his name called during the 2026 NFL Draft, it didn’t take long for the Atlanta Falcons to sign the Minnesota State University-Moorhead star.
Strand was vying the become the first Dragons player drafted in 45 years.
After previously meeting with Georgia Tech QB Haynes King, the team can now check another potential late-round QB target off of the list. Even though the Falcons have three quarterbacks -- Michael Penix Jr.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Saturday night the Dolphins signed Gronowski as an undrafted free agent. As Pelissero noted, Gronowski is the winningest college football quarterback in history. Gronowski captured 49 of his 58 victories in college at the FCS level.
