Eagles fans have an affinity for climbing light poles while celebrating a big win to the point where the city of Philadelphia has opted to grease them up

A New Orleans hotel does famously "grease" its poles for Mardi Gras but authorities did not say if they'll follow suit as Eagles fans descend onto the city for Super Bowl LIX.

The city’s push to end the consent decree comes alongside a formal letter from the New Orleans City Council, which objects to the Louisiana attorney general’s involvement in the case, raising legal concerns about the city’s charter and the process of selecting outside counsel.

The incident took place about a half mile north of Philadelphia City Hall. Eight people suffered injuries ranging from pain to fractures, per police.
