The Broncos followed that with extensions for rush linebacker Jonathon Cooper and left tackle Garett Bolles. And this offseason, the biggest moves the Broncos could make might very well be extensions for two players: defensive end Zach Allen and rush linebacker Nik Bonitto.

"Denver has been proactive in re-signing key players, with corner Pat Surtain II and left tackle Garett Bolles in recent months. Jones -- an anchor for Denver's top-10 rushing defense -- could be next ," Fowler wrote.

In Denver’s second season with coach Sean Payton as the play caller, the offense made strides but there’s still more work to be done.
