WASHINGTON/CHICAGO (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump's administration is quadrupling the country's low-tariff imports of Argentine beef in his attempt to lower grocery store beef prices, a White House official said on Thursday, evoking fury from the nation's cattle ranchers.

Sen. Mike Rounds and Senate Majority Leader John Thune, both South Dakota Republicans, are each putting the ball in Democrats’ court as the federal government shutdown presses on. Thune was full of praise for President Donald Trump Tuesday.

The art professor “demonstrated that he is likely to succeed on the merits of his First Amendment claim,” a federal judge wrote.
