A Jacksonville man is $1 million richer. The Florida Lottery announced Friday that 61-year-old Billy Pitman claimed the prize from the $25 million Gold Rush Multiplier Scratch-Off game in November. Pitman purchased the winning ticket from a Winn-Dixie in Jacksonville.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Duval County man won a $1 million prize on a Florida Lottery scratch-off, the Lottery announced Friday. Billy Pitman, 61, purchased the winning $25,000,000 GOLD RUSH MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game from Winn-Dixie at 11380 Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville.

One ticket matching all five Powerball numbers during the Dec. 8 drawing was sold on the Treasure Coast, leaving the winner with a $1 million win.
