Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart got his first NFL start and was one of three to throw at least one touchdown for the Giants, joining Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito. The Giants have now scored at least 30 points in each of their three preseason games, finishing off the summer with a 42-10 victory over the Patriots.

Some coaches are doing better than others, but it doesn't take away from the fact that this preseason has taught all the new NFL head coaches a lesson.

The clock is about to strike midnight on the 2025 NFL preseason. Already, the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers have all turned the page toward the regular season after rolling through their final exhibitions on Thursday night, and now eight more teams will do the same on Friday night.

The final preseason game for the new-look Giants comes Thursday night. Looking equally strong this summer are the New England Patriots, who also are 2-0, but are not expected to play starting quarterback Drake Maye in this game.

The New England Patriots ended their preseason slate Thursday night against the Giants, and head coach Mike Vrabel has some big decisions to make now.
