Texas A&M used a monster second-half effort to zoom past LSU and move a step closer to the SEC Championship Game. The Aggies scored 35 unanswered points in the second half behind a strong effort from quarterback Marcel Reed to fly past LSU for a historic victory.

No. 20 LSU (5-2, 2-2 SEC) will return to action on Saturday night in Death Valley with a Top-25 matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies set to kickoff at 6:30 p.m.

The Texas A&M defense suffocated Garrett Nussmeier and the LSU offense, holding the Tigers to just 278 total yards while sacking LSU quarterbacks seven times. The Tigers had just 14 yards in the second half until a 75-yard, garbage-time touchdown drive in the final minutes.

The Aggies' victory also snapped gave LSU head coach Brian Kelly's his second loss in Death Valley for a night game. With a second straight loss for Brian Kelly, it is safe to assume he is in the hot seat and the LSU faithful let him know.
