Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco is suddenly an injury concern for the team ahead of the Week 9 game against the Chicago Bears . Flacco briefly left last week’s loss to the New York Jets before returning for the final drive. Ahead of Week 9, both NFL reporters and Bengals coaches updated Flacco’s status daily.
The Bengals acquired Flacco from the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 7 because Jake Browning was struggling to replace injured starter Joe Burrow. Flacco was an immediate upgrade over Browning and has already thrown for 784 yards, seven touchdowns and zero interceptions. He helped the Bengals beat the Steelers on "Thursday Night Football" on Oct. 16.
