Hurricane Melissa brushes Bermuda with powerful winds after leaving deadly path in Caribbean
Bermuda is yet again under a hurricane threat this season as Hurricane Melissa is forecast to charge north, bringing dangerous winds and storm surge.
The federal government is advising Canadians to avoid travelling to certain areas in the Caribbean as Hurricane Melissa rips through the region.
Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica as a Category 5 storm with wind speeds of up to 185 miles per hour.
Hurricane Melissa is expected to weaken into an extratropical cyclone on Friday, Oct. 31, the National Hurricane Center said.
