President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in an interview broadcast on Tuesday that Ukraine was prepared to proceed along a diplomatic track to end the nearly three-year-old war against Russia.

Geopolitically, Europe desperately needs to strengthen its military capabilities and revitalize its defense industry. Ukraine has the largest and most experienced military in Europe and some of the world's most advanced drone technology.

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky said that he would agree to direct talks with Russia's Vladimir Putin to end almost three years of war.
