A fatal shooting killed two people during a hockey game at the Lynch Arena in Pawtucket on Monday afternoon. The suspected shooter is also dead.
Dennis M. Lynch Arena in Pawtucket is the focus of a large-scale shooting investigation with police from multiple jurisdictions, including state police and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Fire and Explosives, on Monday afternoon, Feb. 16.
The shooting happened at the Dennis M. Lynch Arena on Andrew D. Ferland Way during a high school hockey game just before 3 p.m. Monday. Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves said the suspect was among the three people who died in the shooting. Three others were wounded in the shooting.
