The New Orleans Saints had a ton of interest in bringing in Aaron Glenn to be their next head coach. While he did meet with the team, it appears that the interest may not have been entirely mutual. Seeing as though Glenn chose the New York Jets at his first chance,

Glenn credited his past with the Jets as a huge reason why it was his No. 1 choice of where to coach despite other head coaching interviews he had around the NFL this offseason. Glenn not only started his playing career in New York as a first-round pick in 1994, his first front-office gig was with the Jets as a scout.

Because Aaron Glenn is one of the Jets’ own, it’s very possible you’ll see a shift in the way the franchise welcomes its alumni.
