President Donald Trump celebrated the Senate's advancement of the "One Big Beautiful Bill" and acknowledged earlier holdouts -- Sens. Rick Scott, Ron Johnson, Mike Lee and Cynthia Lummis -- for casting their votes in favor of the bill in social media posts early Sunday.

Congressional Republicans are hoping to send their sweeping tax and spending cuts package, otherwise known as the “big, beautiful bill,” to President Donald Trump’s desk by July 4. The House and Senate have each narrowly passed their own versions of the bill.

The Senate passed President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” July 1, giving the president his most significant legislative victory in his second term.
