WNBA and Dallas Wings star guard Paige Bueckers has landed a starring role on the big screen, according to a report by Deadline.

The project is a sports drama being developed by Apple Original Films from an original idea by Zahir McGhee. Deadline reports the film will be produced by David Bernad’s Middle Child Pictures alongside Lindsay Kagawa Colas and Tommy Alter of Wasserman, with Bueckers set to executive produce.
