Lenovo Laptop - Hinge issue! — Digital Spy
Aug 30, 2023 · I contacted Lenovo who expressed no interest in repairing it. I was certainly willing to pay too. From what I read Lenovo will not even repair the hinges for laptops that are still in warranty. Lenovo consider any hinge issues not their fault regardless. I have found a couple of local shops that may be able to repair it.

Mar 21, 2019 · This morning my son's Lenovo laptop wouldn't switch on so I tried the static electricity discharge and then pressed the ON button and it booted up ok. I don't know if this issue is peculiar to Lenovo laptops or if it applies to other makes but it may save some grief for others.

Feb 15, 2006 · I'm looking at a Thinkpad T23 which does nothing but issue beep code 1-3-3-1. According to Lenovo, that means memory or system board failure. Replaced memory - still the same. Removed RAM (!) - still the same. No access to BIOS, booting Lenovo's PC Doctor, ... It does beep, so I assume the CPU is still there.
