@wilkerson_customs on Instagram: "Chassis Tube-work Pt 2.: Rear Chassis For this part of the design, I decided to use 2-inch chromoly tube, with a thinner 0.063” wall thickness on the rear portion. This way it only carries the gravitational load of the spare tires, not the massive shock loads! Additionally, we designed this “bridge” to the rear spare tire carriers using arcs to provide maximum clearance for the solid axle to cycle at full compression. #chassisdesign #trophytruck #solidworks #cad
