We trekked for hours through the rainforest to find them, and when we finally did, seeing these gentle, intelligent beings face-to-face was life-changing. Their survival, however, hangs by a thread — they are critically endangered due to deforestation and poaching. That encounter inspired us to create sculptures that celebrate their beauty
