People are dying in record numbers on Calgary roads, and we need to put an end to it. In 2024, 13 pedestrians and 16 motorists were killed on Calgary’s roads. The highest number in a decade and, sadly, we are on-track to see more deaths in 2025. These aren’t just numbers. These were real people. Mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, siblings, classmates, teammates, teachers, coaches and neighbours. Each loss devastates our community. We need to work together to stop this.
